Chiara Amendola is a dedicated and experienced professional in the field of education and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Chiara's journey in education began at the University of Maine, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in music. Her passion for supporting students with disabilities led her to pursue further education, culminating in a Master of Education in Special Needs and Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College.
As a highly qualified practitioner, Chiara is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and holds licenses as an Applied Behavior Analyst in Massachusetts (LABA) and Rhode Island (LBA). She also possesses Massachusetts Teaching Licenses in Severe Disabilities (All Levels), Moderate Disabilities (Pre-K to 8), and Elementary Education (1-6).
Equipped with a strong foundation in both education and behavior analysis, Chiara has seamlessly blended her skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her students and clients.
With a wealth of experience spanning more than thirteen years, Chiara has made a profound impact through her expertise and commitment to serving individuals with diverse learning needs. Chiara has worked across various settings, including public schools, clinics, private ABA schools, and providing home services. Her extensive background has provided her with a deep understanding of the diverse needs of individuals with special needs and the ability to implement effective interventions to support their growth and development. Her comprehensive approach, grounded in evidence-based practices, has empowered educators, caregivers, and students alike to achieve meaningful outcomes and foster positive behavior change.
Chiara's passion for making a positive impact extends beyond her professional life. She resides in Rhode Island with her husband, James, and their two children, Emilia (age 4) and Luca (age 2), along with their beloved dog, Penelope. In her free time, Chiara enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, and completing home DIY projects.
